ConstructivIQ Enhances Procurement Planning and Material Tracking with Autodesk Construction Cloud Integration

ConstructivIQ, an intelligent, connected procurement planning & material tracking system for the construction industry, announced a new integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud®, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builders network and predictive insights for construction teams.  The new integration exports submittals managed in Autodesk® Build into ConstructivIQ.

Procurement issues cause almost 50% of project schedule delays; however, most project teams use disparate solutions, such as spreadsheets and emails, to plan and track procurement activities.  Procurement spans all phases of the construction project lifecycle and involves multiple processes and workflows. In turn, effective planning and tracking of procurement activities requires integrating and connecting data from multiple data sources.

Project teams using ConstructivIQ can create procurement plans that are tightly aligned with the master schedule, detailing material delivery and submittal approvals. Furthermore, teams can track progress against these plans by integrating their submittal data from Autodesk Construction Cloud. This allows teams to closely monitor which procurement items are at risk, evaluate how they impact schedule activities, and proactively take action to mitigate risk.

“At ConstructivIQ, we are on a mission to target critical pain points in the construction industry that require connecting people and data across silos. Effective procurement is critical to keeping projects on time and on budget” said Sadanand Sahasrabudhe, Co-founder & CEO of ConstructivIQ. “Autodesk Construction Cloud is used by some of the most sophisticated construction companies in the world, and we are excited about helping our joint customers leverage this integration to manage and mitigate procurement risk.”

“Inefficient or fragmented procurement planning can cause delays that quickly erode project margins,” said James Cook, director of industry and technology partnerships at Autodesk. “By integrating submittal data from Autodesk Construction Cloud with ConstructivIQ, project and procurement managers can make sure they get the right materials to their jobsites at the right time.”
