Job Description
- Analyze application requirements and specifications to create test plans and test cases in QMetry
- Design and enhance automation QA framework based on PlayWright, Java.
- Ensure quality, performance, and reliability of applications.
- Develop reusable automation scripts and maintain suites.
- Create test data and own test cases.
- Perform peer code review for automation scripts.
- Identify and report bugs and defects.
- Troubleshoot and debug automation failures.
- Generate and maintain test reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with development and stakeholders on QA.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives).
- A strong team player who is willing to step in and contribute as a Manual QA whenever required, ensuring team goals are met without hesitation.
- Follow CI best practices (SCM, build automation, unit testing basics).
Skill Sets
- 3+ years in functional/automation testing with Java & Playwright.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks like Cucumber (BDD), TestNG, Postman, REST Assured.
- Proactively explores AI tools and advanced Playwright features to accelerate automation development and improve maintainability.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and SDLC.
- Experience in REST API testing, JSON, XML, basic SQL.
- Understanding of Git (branching & merging).
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong technical communication skills.
