Job Description
- Analyze application requirements and specifications to create test plans and test cases.
- Design and build automation QA framework based on Selenium, Java
- Design and develop manual and automated test cases using the automation framework
- Should have experience in Behaviour Driven Testing, Test Automation Framework.
- Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of the applications.
- Scripting and developing reusable automation code
- Create test data, writing and ownership test cases
- Perform peer code review
- Identify and report bugs and defects.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues.
- Generate and maintain test reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with the software development team and other stakeholders on software quality assurance.
- Actively participate into the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up/scrum meeting,
- Sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.
- Apply continuous integration best practices in general (SCM, build automation, unit testing, dependency management)
Skill Sets
- Total experience 5+ years, in functional/automation testing. Should have experience in Java and Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of automation framework like Karate, Postman, SOAP UI, BDD Cucumber.
- Familiarity with all Agile practices, regulated environments and software development practices.
- Strong experience required in REST API, JSON, XML and SQL
- Understanding of version control systems ( Git, etc.), including branching and merging strategies
- Experience with software build tools and continuous integration tools
- Experience in building & using testing frameworks
- Experience applying automation to a continuous delivery processes
- Strong technical communication skills
- Experience in Construction Technology industry is a huge plus
